Go here. That's it. The food is cheap and delicious. It was super fast as well. For sure impressed with the place as a whole. It is kind of a dive but don't let that discourage you. It was opened first back in the 30s. The staff here are awesome. They know a lot about the town and give great recommendations on food to order. The fries are crispy and the sandwiches have well balanced flavor. Get a porkchop sandwich fully loaded.

If Heaven had a sandwich that involves pork. It will come from here. Definitely worth the 12 hour trip from anywhere relevant to get there

Good pork chops, but they aren't anything super special. Hamburgers are OK too. The fries are truly the best fries I have ever had, anywhere. They are light and crispy and have just the right seasoning. Sometimes I just go here and order fries. Make sure to eat them while they are still fresh!

Went there today, called in our order. Service was very off for being pork chop johns. Got over charged for the 3 pork chops for 10$ deal. They didn't want to give up any sides of sauce for my fries either. Asked for one a little extra cooked, didn't get cooked extra at all as I watched the guy take it from the stack of chops he had there waiting for lunch rush. When I called back to ask about price and stuff, girl was on the phone bashing her manager saying she deals with the crabby all the time from boss. Talked to main guy and he got crabby to as it waz start of lunch rush. It's a dam same that porkchop johns has gotten that bad. Probably will not return as I can go buy their chops and cook them myself how I like since asking and paying for something is a little to much.

I always enjoy a pork chop sandwich at John's. The Mercury street location is retro cool. Pickles onions and mustard is the way to go.

Was in the rush with trying to get all my errands and grocery shopping done & dropped off at home before I had to be at my 6:30pm appointment. So dropped off my groceries and im on my way. I'm driving and I see Pork chop johns sign and it's 6:15pm I can't be late. I whip in place my order at the window, hot ham egg cheese pork chop with hot mustard pickles and onions & order of fries and she cooks it up . It's 6:20pm I've got my order & I'm off to my appointment. Made it on time, ate my meal and got 2mins to spare. Thank you Pork chop johns for having such great staff at your uptown location. That was the best pork chop I've had in 20years.

Pork Chop John’s is a Butte tradition for longer than I can remember. Get a bag full on the way to the Columbia Gardens. Grab one on the way to a football game. Maybe grab another walking home after the game. Have a treat after getting off of afternoon shift down the Leonard. Stop in to warm up and have a sit down meal during an evening of holiday shopping. Take a break from dancing to a blues band at the Dollar and have a pork chop sandwich. And now, be it alone or with a group of family and friends, a stop for a pork chop sandwich is always a delight. It just, flat, doesn’t often get better.

Great people! Great food! Stopped in here for a quick lunch and had fast service with great customer service!

Really good food. Quality has always been good but the service at the uptown was horrible. Went there last week on Monday and the guy working was dressed in all military fatigues and they were dirty as hell and he was messing up every order and fighting with the girl working there.

Honestly rating this place was a bit tough. only because my food came out fast and the service was great. However The food is what you pay for but still can't help but think for the same price as the combo I can go to any other fast food industry in town and probably enjoy the food more.

Lots of variety. John's specializes in customized burgers and chop sandwiches. The portions are generous and the price is very good. True comfort food.

When ever I come to Montana I have to go to Butte Montana for a pork chop sandwich. I go to the one on Mercury street just because when I was little my dad would take me there. So every time I go to Pork Chop John's I get my sandwich and think about the good times my dad and I had , besides you can't get these sandwiches in Nevada. I also like the staff they're good people.

I'd walk the 1200 miles from Mesa Az, just to smell a Pork Chop John's sandwich. First place I stop when coming in to town. Last stop on the way out. Three generations of my family have been enjoying these delicious sandwiches for over 50 yrs. Thank you for all the years of wonderful service, the amazing food and all my cherished memories....

I have grown up coming here during trips and the food never gets old. Great sandwiches and better service. Double with lettuce, onion, ketchup and a dash of salt is recommended

Mercury Street Pork Chop Johns is by far the best of the best. Stop up order in the window and just listen to the sizzle of the burgers and set your mouth for an outstanding flavor experience. The pork chop sandwich is a Butte original and nobody does it better than Mercury Street Pork Chop Johns.

If you're going to have a PorkChop definitely go to John's UPTOWN,there's a big difference in taste!

Had heard this was a must stop on our road trip and it did not disappoint! Had the pork chop sandwich, really fresh tasting, tasty fries and a delicious blackberry milkshake. Ed, the owner was working the window. Definitely recommend!
